Jessica Michael started her career as a successful holistic health practitioner focused on trauma-aware bodywork. Allison Mahoney founded Estorie Agency in 2021. Estorie Agency provides communications and public relations services to organizations and advocates that are addressing today’s most pressing social justice, human rights, and civil rights issues—as well as to those that promote healing.

Allison is a lawyer with over a decade’s worth of experience litigating on behalf of survivors. Allison was inspired to open Estorie Agency after seeing the role that storytelling played in her work as an advocate. Allison has crafted compelling narratives for trials and hearings, written extensively, worked closely with the media, and connected with creatives, such as documentary film producers, to give a voice to her clients.

Today, Allison is on the board of directors at Response, a nonprofit that works with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Aspen, Colorado. Allison serves as the Secretary of the New York City Bar Association’s Children & the Law Committee and Chair of Fordham University’s School of Law Government and Public Interest Affinity Group.

She is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor.
